Ripping models from Psychonauts / PLB model files

I've been trying for a few weeks now to rip models from the original Psychonauts but haven't had any success, both with the Steam version and an ISO of the original PC disc. However, I have been able to get the .plb model files for some models via the PC disc. My problem now is that I cant seem to find any good explanations online as to how to open a .plb file. I also wouldn't call myself an expert on ripping models, so if anyone here has advice on getting more models than this since Raz appears to be the only character here / more efficient ways of ripping, please feel free to let me know.
