I posted this denied Mario sprite sheet early, could somebody help out?

So, I made a sprite sheet on Ice Mario in a SMB3 style. I know, it got denied. But I was just wondering. Where was the critique? He said hed love to help artists that want to grow and get more in touch with this kind of stuff. So, I'd like to see some feedback. I kinda want to see this sprite on this website, so the image is below. I think it's almost done, I kinda wanted to post it early, heh. So, anyway, let me know how you think to make this sprite sheet better. Thank you.

Normally the rejection message has a reason for the rejection listed.

In your case I'm guessing the reason may be that your sheet looks like a recolor of the official sprites. Basic sprite edits like recoloring usually don't meet the standards of the custom section.
