Need Help! Converting .dat files to a Blender-friendly format

Hello! I'm working on a fangame and I need models from the 2005 GameCube version of Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!, but the engine I'm using (GameCube 2004 Pikmin 2) uses .obj. Meanwhile, while I'm able to rip all files from Chibi-Robo using the Unplug tool (https://github.com/adierking/unplug), all the models are in .dat format. How do I convert these into .obj or any other Blender-friendly format?
