How long does it usually take to get sounds submitted?

I submitted sounds to the site about nearly a couple of weeks ago, but it's still pending. Do I have to do certain steps to get it approved, or are the mods busy at the moment? Asking since I'm a little new to the site.

This gets asked a lot for sounds and the only answer is to just be patient. There's a long backlog of submissions they're working through and all you can do is check back every so often. I submitted some of my stuff ten months ago, for instance. But what I sent them is over four hours of material. All of that has to be manually checked one file at a time.

I've added some sounds from Rayman Raving Rabbids, and RRR TV Party for the Wii, but they haven't been approved yet. And I'm still waiting for them to be uploaded to the Sounds Resource
