How do I rip sprites/textures from Wii Wad(s)/Gamecube games?

Question
idk what to put here so...

The FitnessGramâ„¢ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
make sure not to rip a piece of paper instead of a game asset

Normally you'd fill your post's body with useful context, eg. what game you're trying to rip, what methods you've tried, what roadblocks you've encountered, etc.

On that note, with some Wii/Gamecube games it's as simple as:
1. Open the Dolphin Emulator.
2. Load the folder containing the game you want to rip (but not the game itself! Just make sure Dolphin can see it.)
3. Right-click the game in Dolphin's game selection menu and clicking Properties in the context menu that pops up.
4. Navigate to the "Filesystem" tab in the Properties window
5. Locate the files you want to rip, right-click them (or the folder containing them), then click the "Extract File..." / "Extract Files..." button that shows up and navigate to the desired location you want to put your extracted files.

Voila, you now have the raw files from the game itself! Now, at least some games will require asset conversion before they're useable - I'd recommend researching filetypes you don't recognize, either by searching on this website or on Google. You may get lucky and find tools already built to assist in the conversion. If not, you can ask for further help somewhere around here or on the Discord, which is significantly more active.

Hope this helped!
