Extracting audio from .XA files??
#1
Does anyone know how to open XA files??
I'm working on Bushido Blade 2...
Extracting the fight sounds is no problem...
But I can't seem to find a way to extract the dialogue from the cutscenes...
Does anyone know how?? I need help...

From various PS1 games I've seen, you just need simple tools like jpsxdec (which needs Java to run) or vgmstream (foobar2000 if you're on Windows).

Get foobar2000 (32-bit) : https://www.foobar2000.org/download
Download vgmstream : https://www.foobar2000.org/components/vi..._vgmstream
Install it : https://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?ti..._component
Go to Preferences > Playback > Decoding > vgmstream : tick "Enable unknown exts" and "Enable common exts".
Then you can drag'n'drop the xa file. After that Right-click > Convert > default
