3D Modelling
Hey, forum!

I'm currently working on a project which will be using a substantial amount of assets from The Simpsons Game (2007). My current progress (in terms of ripping) is that i have managed to rip all the necessary models, textures and sounds. However, i still have more to work on.

As someone with little to no animation skill, I'd like to see if it is at all possible to rip the animations used in the game. Mainly character animations (idle, running, jumping etc.)
I am aware this is a very big hurdle, and will inevitably take a long time to get done, especially exporting to my target software.
Another hurdle I've hit is that the map models use many textures, and manually selecting every face and picking which texture goes where for every single map in the game isn't something that seems very smart. Ideally, I'd like to have all of this importable into blender (including texture and vertex color data) so i could edit it from there. This is, yet again, a big ask.
For context, i have ripped the files using QuickBMS and the Simpsons Str script. i have ripped the models by importing them directly into blender using this plugin. I have ripped the textures using Noesis to convert Renderware TXDs to PNGs.

I've also been using RPCS3 to emulate the game and use it as reference for how the models are intended to look.

Thank you in advance for any and all responses to this thread. It's much appreciated!  Smile
