Soviet Jump Game sprite ripping (sprites are exported already, needs sorting)
#1
Heyo, I know that there is in fact a page for Soviet Jump Game on Spriters Resource, but it's a bit lacking.

A friend of mine has actually been a big fan of the game for some time, and he brought up today that it's seemingly dead. Hardly any players, maybe no servers anymore? I wouldn't know for sure, as I haven't played the game in forever. Even then I only ran it once.
Now, point is, when he mentioned it again, I decided to do some digging around about the sprites. If it is dead, like capital-D Dead dead, it certainly oughta have its sprites put up; I'd think.
And thanks to the AssetRipper for Unity games, I have (seemingly, assuming nothing went wrong) exported every sprite from the game assets.

They are of course, unsorted, and I haven't played the game in quite some time so I wouldn't remember a ton anyway. I can def give a shot at making some organized sheets, particularly for player characters as they seem straightforward and uniform enough. But it's a big task to do the level tiles, and a LOT of miscellaneous objects and stuff that I'm simply unsure of how they're used or placed in-game.

I may not be able to say for sure how much I'd be able to put into this project yet. At at the least though, for purposes of simply having the sprites as is, straight from the game, without someone else having to export them themselves; I have the sprites ripped and nothing yet made into sheets for Spriters Resource,
Here on Google Drive

And here's some of the MANY many sprite rips from the game files thanks to AssetRipper for anyone to peep at without goin to Drive:

I recommend SheetMaker, it's pretty easy to use:

Oh that is gonna be WILDLY helpful in streamlining this! Had no idea about this program, thanks.
I thought sheet making would be the hard part in the process for this, but now it ain't at all!

No problem, I'm always using this tool when I have a lot of single files floating aroung.
For example, the battle backgrounds and tilesets for Final Fantasy VI got done with SheetMaker:

And if you're not happy with the transparency on the files, you can erase it easily:

The option is called "Fill Frames".
