I first joined forums about 16 years ago as a loud (read: obnoxious) 10 year old, and then when my favourite shut down, drifted to and from others but never really stuck to one again. I'm hoping to change that, now!
You can either call me Alx or Ten, I'm an art student from the UK, spend my time mostly playing Stardew Valley or DOS Point-And-Click games, and I love to bake!
I like a lot of music (any Johnny Foreigner fans in this place?) and I'm in a band. I'm also a freelance video editor!
My favourite movies are Her, Legally Blonde, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Slaves of New York, and right now I'm in the middle of binging Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
I was hoping one day forums would have a resurgence. Being honest, I absolutely despise Discord - the layout, the 'casual IM'ness, the fact that they're so annoying to navigate half the time and so annoying to keep track of old conversations. Archiving anything properly on it feels impossible and it's so easy to miss stuff. I suppose it's just coming to terms with what people are used to, but man, I can't help but feel very 'old man yells at cloud' about it all.
