Custom Metroid ships
#1
Post your entries here. Those can be Samus', Pirates or any other.
EDIT: thanks goes to Betatronic Fusion, who gave me a tutoring on how to shade and color sprites (I must say that my previous customs-before the tutoring-were awful)
Here's my edit of M2 ship:

The glass is pillowshaded, but it's not a bad edit. Please post some custom stuff.

Check this one out (it's not made by me)
Does it look to you like pillow shading?

Yes, and isn't exactly nice on the eyes.

Yours, however, looks pretty badass. But like Chris already stated, you might want to consider editing the glass a bit.

poor ronny (though, I have to agree... ) I put down my vote on fixing the glass, I have been making glass for a space pirate scout ship for my fangame and now I know glass doesn't look like that in the sprite universe.
EDIT: how did I not notice that before? your the dude on deviant art that's been favoring my stuff =P thanks, can't believe I didn't notice earlier...

It's settled then. I'll work on the glass (and probably add a hatch opening sequence as separate part), and post it next to the old one.
AND ONE MORE THING: I FORGOT TO PUT IN THE TOPIC TITLE THAT THE THINGS YOU POST ( I MADE THE THREAD FOR EVERYONE) CAN BE BOTH CUSTOMS AND EDITS (BUT THE FIRST OPTION IS A BONUS;-))
EDIT: Fixed the glass, and added the hatch parts.

Looks good, but I think the parts with the arrows should have the light patch moved lower.
Well, ronny14's a newb for now, he just needs more practice. So do radeoactivebacon, iggi, etc.
