I'm trying to connect to Xbox live through my laptop, It works but I can't Marketplace or anything like that.
If this helps any, my Laptop is an XP compaq computer.
help would be appreciated.

I tried that, but now it's not even letting me connect.
I don't exactly know how share networks through a bridge, if anyone knows how to I would like to know
If not my laptop is probably a piece of shit then
edit:actually it has something more to do with NATs or something like that.

okay go into network connections
if your xbox is plugged into the computer through the ethernet port then the computer should recognize it and it'll show up in network connections
now highlight both the xbox and your wireless connection (ctrl+click)
right click and there should be a new option to bridge the networks
click that and the computer should stop for a second as it works and a new option should show up called network bridge
it should work now and I don't think you need to do any configuration and stuff

is it giving you an error?
I don't remember since I haven't done a network bridge in a couple of months and I moved the xbox but um
I think I was getting that same thing too
look, it's saying wireless connection 2 is still working
try connecting on the xbox
