What style is this, original?

The shading makes it look flat, and I don't like how pixely and jagged the outline looks. Some AA would patch that up. It's also too block a long the bottom. Round and smoothen it out mor.

I AA'd it and made the bottom less flat. I am not sure how to fix the shading.

I don't like the way he lowers in the animation, his gut should poke out more when he lowers more don't you think? Kinda like a ball, when you smash it down, it expands, not lower into itself.
