GrooveMan, you could use Adel's eyes as a base and work from there until you can set up a proper set of eyes for the perspective.

Ok, I think I'm done. Tweaked the size of the head and lenth of his right arm as well as giving him eyes. Large enough to show emotion if need-be, too.

It's quite hard to fit a lot of detail into s amall space, and that could just be the style. If's like someone saying Kaikimi's sprites need shading, just so they have something to say *cought*Mabelma*cough*. Btw, Kaikimi =#

But if you could, I'd give MMO a think. This would be awesome, with the amount of variety in the equipmwent. Imaging, one piece for each Pokémon, maybe each clothing item for each Pokémon. This would be awesome.

Of course if you (or anyone else) wants to try, then how about this:

Let's make this a contest. Using Disgaea-sized sprites (although I believe that all Nippon Ichi isometric sprites are the same size) represent Green here.
Use a shading and colouring style that would match the current sprite of Gold.

(Note that the darkest shade there isn't pure black, but a slightly hue-shifted and darked colour based on the most prevailant colour)
you may use a base if you feel you need to - it's the resultant quality that matters. Winners will be showered by praise from both me & the rest of the team, and access to the AMAZING SECRET DETAILS of the project (as a member of the production team )! There might be a tSR award in it for you, too.

No time limit per se, but I'm not the only person scouting for help, and there aren't an infinite number of places. Too many cooks spoil the broth and all that.
