I honestly have never entered a sprite contest before so hopefully people won't be hatin' if I enter this.
Hopefully my entry will be up to the high expectations of folks.

I really want to enter this one.
I think I might.
But I'd have to balance spriting this with spriting other stuff.
Hmmmm.

Will your entry be gory?
Gory? possibly. MY ideas are rougha nd still in the plannign stages. Though I'll probably do some doodles today in class and get some new ideas.
I have high expectations for some of these entries; I predict a very good challenge.

because 150x150 means 150x150 not open to variation.

That makes no sense. How is it not open to variation? The size doesn't limit variation, it limits size.
And steampunk is the genre I see the LEAST of. If you don't like it, don't enter.

variation in size. first post. you wrote 150 x 150. generally means that it must be 150 x 150 and there cant be any variation in size

And it was already clarified, after I put "max", that it can be 150x150 or smaller.

For clarification, do humans fall under the animal category for this contest? I was planning on implementing a skull in my sprite but I wanted a greenlight on that idea before I pursued it further.
