I agree; rather than going perfect with height with snake-like Pokemon, it'd be a lot easier to do a slightly more fair height (like, maybe have Gyarados go up to 14, but make it more apparent that it's not standing up completely straight with its entire body, like Milotic.
It looks great though.
And to everyone else; you don't need my permission to try this style, just go ahead and try it (:

I'm pretty sure I will change the colors on the shoes and make the jeans lighter.

That gyrados is beyond epic. I jizzed.
Now getting to Feraligatr, this should be it.
I used some colors from Big-Willy-R mod, and de-saturated some a bit as some were too bright.. I left the jaw yellow how it was, because it looks somewhat realistic this way; adding more saturation to it would have made it look somewhat cartoonish.

Just a little tip:
Onix and Steelix will both be easier if you do them in sections; it'll greatly reduce the workload and make animations look smooth without using multiple frames.

Looks nice, so far.
But since the style aims for a more realistic style, Try making the eyes a little dark, As if the shell
was draping a shadow over them.
