Im having trouble making out the second one's facial details. I think you could also update the contrast a bit on the red.

Just two things to say though. Swampert's left arm looks pretty akward, like he has two right arms, and the 07' Roserade looks better than the 09' one.

I agree. '09 Roserade looks like it has it's hair slicked back like a greaser.

thanks zac, originally i was gonna edit the arm a bit, but i got lazy and did whatever because he only has 3 fingers.(it was one of those pieces you work on then stop working for a while and when you get back to it you just want it done, which is what i was doing)

as for the roserade, the old one may look better to some degree but its done completely wrong(to me), the new one is more accurate dispite how it looks.

and chad, thats how roserade looks like when its facing to the right, in nearly all of its artwork its facing to the left(which is another reason why the 07 one is wrong) its head isnt symmetrical, and the rose part on the right side of its head does slick up(look at the platinum sprite) but i may edit it one day to lessen the slickness or do it in the other direction(i think people cut corners and do it that way for both directions), that things head is confusing which is why it took me forever to do it, but neither 07 or 09 came out "perfect" to me, i may even redo it someday.

but right now rpg is all care about, in the future when i get better ill go back and improve some stuff. thanks for the heads up though.

since i only started working on this last week and i did the sprites completely on random, there is no real plot yet.

ive only thought up character backgrounds and how some meet each other, im starting to brainstorm towards the main plot now.
