I like the simplicity too, but there are somethings I would change.

1. The first sprite's pose is weird, nobody stands like that.
2. The first sprite looks like he has a diaper. Or something.
3. Epona's legs are WAY to skinny.

Other than that, very good job, I look forward to seeing more of you.

i think its called "sytlish". and the second character is the protagonist of the clockwork orange.

i think the way the characters are drawn clearly shows that said skinny parts are intentionally drawn that way to match the style, unlike someone who just draws them for no reason.
