It is, but the network censors wouldn't allow that name to be used in the show because the people who are at the network are a bunch of pussies, timm decided to just call him slade (Which was his real name, for those who don't read comics)

I think the network got some of the censors from the old Nintendo of America.
At the Tiny Titans they call him mister Slade or principal Slade. Speedy mentions he's also called "Terminator" in one of the issues
And I just followed the original comic shading (which means no shading). The only one who got some shading is Darkseid.
