ROM Trouble

I downloaded the "Sonic-More than a Memory-The Perfect Existance" ROM and decompressed its EZ 7z format into a .bin format, but every time it gets to the title screen, it freezes. It's the hack with black Sonic on the title screen and where you play as Shadow. It's a Sonic 2 hack. Anybody know how I can fix my trouble?

You really need to give more details when asking for help. What emulator would be a start. With most of these cases though it's normally a bad ROM - go get it from somewhere else.
