I don't get why people are calling it a great sprite when it's just a colored line-art at this point. The only shading so far is a bit of highlighting on the face.

Unless he intends to give it some proper shading, I'm not sure it really belongs in the spriting section of the forum.

first of all, it is a WIP and it was made pixel-per-pixel, it is a sprite. Just because it doesn't have any shading it doesn't mean it's not a sprite/pixel-art

There is no indication that this piece is a WIP.

If you were to take the single-pixel paintbrush in MS Paint and make simulator brushstrokes, you'll find that you get a rather identical result. That's not spriting as you've defined it, that's standard drawing or what many call "Oekaki."

My signature images and the quality of them have nothing to do with the topic at hand. If you have to bring up an unrelated topic into your argument, then I suggest you try not making a personal attack.

If you'd look at the picture instead of your own ass, you'd see it is an obvious WIP.
Why do you think he'd apply the shading on the face but not on the rest, and why do you think the area below his neck still doesn't have any lineart applyied to it?
And most importantly, why did everyone else acted like it was a WIP if, as you said, it's not?

I really like this, and how it's all motley. For the same reason, I like the different color locks of hair, although they do seem a bit off. Maybe make the color go a bit further into his hair, rather than just the parts coming out of the headband? Can't wait to see more of this!
