Hi there,
I'm planing to do a platformer and for one thing, I really want (to try) to do my own sprite. I don't really know where to start but I gave it a try.
For the main caracter, I want it to do it in a LaTale style. So I make an uggly sheet only to see animation :
Applet version
For one of the ennemy, I want to do a duck with an helm (I don't like the body, the feet and the animation
):
Applet version
Any advice / suggestion is welcome.

for one thing, you dont have to put this in the requests, You can ask a mod to move this into sprite discussion. As for the sprites, the beginning ones look a little blurred on the edges. The animation seems okay, though. The duck semms okay to me.

This guy has a huge crotch. Also it looks like the head is a smaller version of Maple Story, IMO.
Give me my own member group!

That's how they look. Believe me, they do.
The ducks looks okay to me, but the character needs a smaller crotch.

The arms swing a little too fast. They're currently moving at about twice the speed of the legs.

Usually when somebody is walking their arms and legs usually tends to do the opposite movement. So when the right arm is bending going to the front, the left leg is bending going to the back. Or something like this, it's hard to explain. So keep it in mind for the animation. If you got any trouble, try to go over the sprites on tSR and check some walking characters for references.
There's also something strange about her legs, I can't identify what is it. Not to mention the femur is the longest bone in the human body, so the thigh should be a bit bigger than the calf.
But so far, so good.

The arms ate still going a little fast, but the legs are mostly what's bothering me. If you look at each leg individually, they appear to be moving fine, but if you look at both of them together, the legs are a jumbled mess.
You should make the walk cycle look more like an actual walk.
I'm not really sure how to explain it any better, sorry. :/
