Hey, it's coming along nice. One thing that's bugging me though, is the outline, but I can't quite put my finger on what's wrong...
I think his mouth should be kinda bigger, or at least hide that rounded part of his head, I don't think there's any koopa with a mouth that small (you were hiding it earlier, but the mouth was more like Bowser's). The hair is still loking kinda jagged, maybe search for some in-game reference for that? His eye is kinda bugging me too, but they're strange on his design anyway. Also, I think the star looks pasted on, not actual body paint, but maybe that's the view's fault... Otherwise, I'm liking the effort and progress in this!

Much better! My eyes aren't yelling at me anymore about that yellow contrast.
Well anyways, the hair also seems fine now. Although, pictures will always been more dynamic the closer the character is at looking at you. I would try angling the head a bit toward the viewer. It would feel more fierce, too.

Hy guys!
Sorry for the late( ), but I've got a pretty busy week, and next will by busy to( )! But anyway, since tow weeks ago I was used to post a try for week. Last week was yust an exception! Anyway, I've tried to shrink a little the needles on the shell(since last try, they have the same dimension of Bowser's, but Morton's are smaller) And also I tried to enlarge the mouth, yust like Mutsukki suggested! But i think that before was better! Anyway, here we go! Hope you like it!

You surely improved a lot fromt he first version!
Just one thing - I'm not sure how PM would handle such things, but the star on his face does look pasted on. You should try to deform it in a way that shows volume - like the band-aid on koops does, for example.

I dont know exactly how to deform it, but I take a fast try:

Here I am again.
I modified a little the shape of the star in the mouth-zone, and I tried to make hairs and eyebrow less jaggy. Hope you like my work! Thanked by: Shade

Move his eye more to the right

My builded Morton is just a preview of the results you can have with my sprites.
In your Morton, you can put his eye where you like! Anyway, if you prefer I will make another one with the moved eye, tell my, and I will do, cause I want my custom was as good as possible. But I think this particular is't so much relevant! Thanked by: El Loco

Now you've got anti-aliasing on the eyebrows and hair which is definitely not in style and would not work in-game. To remove the jaggyness here, you will have to work with the actual pixels, not with vectors, as you don't have enough control there (unless you work in Illustrator, for example, where you can set preview rendering to render with zoomed pixels).
You can reference the spriting dictionary section on "jagged lines" for help:

Thanks, thanks to everyone for have followed me on my long journey(not yet ended!) for become a spriter. I know that I have very much to learn, but I hope to have learned something into this long time. A special thanks is for you, Previous. You give me always the right suggestion for change my work in better. I know tha probably(centanly, not probably) is early for say thanks, but I just want to do it, before something deny me to do!
I didn't manage very well to fix the jaggy hairs, but i tried with less anti-aliasing. Hope you like, thanks, and (a little late, I knowh) happy Easter! Thanked by: Garamonde

I can most definitely say that Morton is looking better!
The hairs look okay to me (not sure about the middle one though) this time. The star on his face still looks like it's just floating there, and I kind of know how you can fix it, but I don't know how to explain without finding a visual example... |
