Nah I was bored here at work so I just tried to see what my characters would look like if I added a little bit of shading.

I think it would be cool with a second shade, but maybe just for shading a little of a large object and to AA.
I just don't think it makes much sense to have the background shaded and the characters not. Plus I think I can show a lot more depth with this. The main reason for me coming up with my style was thatit lightened the pixel load a great deal in the game so I could work on other things at a better pace. Now that I have my tablet though, I can knock graphics out no problem and I can make things look a lot better to compensate for that extra bit of help.

er, personally I like the unshaded style.
It makes the characters stand out more, and gives the game a sort of style. |
