Does Super Mit 2 actually impact gameplay - like, ASM rewrites? Or is it just all redrawn sprites of the Mario Bros. 2 cast as MFGG OCs?

though, i should say that the current patch is pretty outdated in many ways, and that it'll be updated once i've gotten a better idea of how to work the level editor and changed at least world 1-1.
