They don't have to look more like the official art, unless they're really off. His Feraligatr is fine as it is for the most part, but the legs on yours do look a bit more in-place, I guess you could say.

I love those reptilian legs.

I also like most of the tail. The vicious look is good, but it steers away from the original concepts.. Yet I'd try to balance them out whichever way possible anyway.
