The games I'm excited for are Donkey Kong Country Returns, Skyward Sword, Metroid Other M, Mario Sports Mix, Maybe Wii Party, and that's about it.

I just want to know guys. When you watched the E3 and Kirby came up, you were pretty excited right? And then the title comes up and my jaw instantly dropped and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I was expecting the most mind blowing epic Kirby game of all time, AND THEN IT SHOWED SOME STUPID YARN GAME WITH A KIRBY ATTACHED, WHAT THE FUCK HAS THIS WORLD COME TO, HONESTLY..

To be completely honest, it'll probably be a decent game, BUT WHAT THE FUCK. They show these awesome Kirby Adventure pictures for an upcoming Gamecube game in like what 2005? Thought they were going to make a decent Kirby game for the Wii sooner and then they come out with KIRBY'S EPIC YARN.

I hate Nintendo because there stupid fucks, but augg... they still make me wanna play a few select games. pissed me off the most when they came out with a kirby yarn game.

I HONESTLY thought it was a fucking joke when they played the clip for the game, I could of swore it was a joke, and then 10 seconds later they would have the real kirby adventure game that would be 20x better but no.. the video kept playin and I was stunned. stunned..

Well, to begin with, I didn't say it would be bad at all, I actually said it would probably be a pretty fucking good game, but you obviously don't read or anything.

It wasn't what I expected, or what I wanted to be, and no the only Kirby games that are in 3D that I actually remember having fun on, are Kirby 64, and Kirby Air Ride, but I wanted another Kirby Adventure game that would be 3D and have amazing graphics and cool gameplay mechanics.

But its a new kirby game for Wii, that is 2D and has a weird twist in where Kirby is yarn and pretty much has no story at all because it's just yarn and doesn't preceed from any other Kirby game whatsoever.

I just wanted a game that looked like the one they were showing pictures for back in 2005 for the gamecube. that looked like a fucking awesome game, this one sadly doesn't look as good, or probably wouldnt compare to it.

To me Kirby=cute and the new Kirby game looks cute so idgaf what others thing of it because if I had a Wii, I'd get it to at least try it out and if I didn't like it then there is always ebay or gamestop.

and did you see all the different ways you can interact with objects using the yarn as an impetus?? that isn't a "cool gameplay mechanic"?? altering the fucking world around you?? taking a single concept and exploring different ways to use it is how you make a good video game (it's how they made kirby; except the concept in the older ones was eating enemies and the powers you gained therein)

e: also you did actually explicitly state that the game "pissed you off" and that nintendo is a bunch of "stupid fucks" for it, whether or not we're actually right or wrong I think you can see it's definetly at LEAST an honest, reasonable mistake anyone could've or would've made, IF we are wrong to think that the game is making you mad

no, they're not valid complaints - they are petty and ultimately superficial. who cares if it's yarn? doesn't it matter more how the game plays and what is done with the concept? who cares if its 2D? 2D or 3D has no bearing on the quality of the game, it is what is done with the dimension that matters. similarly, subject matter has no bearing on the quality of the game. the reason for this is that they are descriptors, and quality is determined not by what it's descriptors are, but how well these descriptors, these aspects, are dealt with and arranged

neither of these are ""important" as far as the quality of the game goes, or how inventive or interesting it is; by dismissing the whole game based on these two superficial aspects, you are rendering yourself little more than a petulant child

Ok yeah it would be a pretty cool feature to fuck around with but i'm talking about the gameplay like the video and images it showed back in the day, it had like 4 partners at once, had some pretty crazy bosses and abilities, and actually looked like a really awesome kirby game. like i mean come on, if you've even watched a couple episodes of the show for kirby there are shit loads of characters, abilities and things to ride that they could implement into a really good adventure.

I mean ya it seemed like i was bashing it a lot when i first posted but it just wasn't what I was expecting for not seeing a kirby platformer game in 7 years... you can see where im coming from? I mean come on.
