I take requests for models, by the way, so anyone can ask for whatever Duodecim models they need. And there is a lot, not just characters and arenas. There's the entire world map, dungeons, skyboxes, weapons, etc.

this is what i don't understand, if u have aerith's DLC....and u use it in battle with someone who dos'nt have the DLC...does she not show up?
aerith's voice actor is credited in the game credits...so it makes me wonder if the data is there to begin with and the DLC is the way of unlocking it

Aerith is already in the game to begin with, the DLC holds no actual content; it just unlocks her in the game's data.
Funny thing is, I'm already working on ripping Desperado Chaos. (I like Desperado so much more, by the way)
Here he is. (The Icon is pre-posed because it makes him look cooler so thar.) The .dae file comes with animations, making the file a little bigger. I'll upload a seperate version later without the animations.

thanks, hopefully these will come out good.
thanks for clearing it up, i'm trying to get all the DLC for dissidia but with the hacking PSN and stuff it's getting really hard. the opening theme to FFVIII is gona be so much fun to fight to.

I've managed to create a few manikins by swapping out textures for some of the charecter files that have already been ripped, but they don't always come out right, as alot of the model's i've got are the bonus costumes like laguna's president outfit. hrm... theres really not that much in Dissidia 3d model wise....cuz all of the summons are sprites, and yuna's summons are half cut off..

...hey thats it...u think u could rip yuna's summons?

Sorry that I haven't updated in a long time, I really am going to rip the crap out of this game, but I've been real busy lately.
Expect more from me (Maybe Yuna's summons and the rest of the characters) this/next week.
And if I don't update by then, I lose my honor as a model ripper FOREVER. >:0

Honor? Chill dude, noone's expecting you to update on the dot, all the time. Personally, I'm just glad you've decided to rip stuff for the site at all. Just deal with everything else first and then get to it when you feel like. Just take it easy I guess Smile

i'm still working on converting the first batch of models u uploaded
i just got despy chaos' alt textures on teh model.
truth be told i have a ifrit model already...but it's not the FFX one ..it's from FFVIII

Can't say I know how to export them in those, but the format is just text so its not terribly difficult to edit or manually make a .mtl to work with an .obj file if you want to which is why I don't really need you to make .mtl's that badly. All they really do are assign textures and material properties to the material names the .obj model has attached to it.

Since you can find these names yourself, its not that hard to assign these yourself though obviously with a model like a level where there are a lot of textures, its harder to tell what goes where without a .mtl.

yah see thates my problem.
when i try converting some of the stages i have trouble getting the textures right cuz i have to import it to full size first before i can assign textures...and the veiwing box for conversion to x to PMD is tiny so i can't really see where any of the textures i'm assinging are going... regular models are easy enough but for giant stages....meh..it's crazy
