As said by other people the red coin looked like more of a brown color than red. The blue and gold coins have really good colours, if you are planning on adding more coins, you should do the purple coins from galaxy,
and the green coins from NSMBU.

the blue coin looks fine, but the red and yellow coins seem to be a tiny bit too bright and could be a little darker

For EpicEbilninja here are the edits.
and for Omnikariz, I did plan to do purple coins at one point, but, decided not to because of the star in the middle is hard to replicate in a sprite like this.

You could probably get away with doing them like this

As it has been more than 24 hours since I posted my coin sprites, I'm assuming there are no more complaints with them. so I will be moving on again to blocks. (then eventually a tile-set, but that's for later)
funny, I was making this post when you posted your reply to me. Who can say that's happened to them recently?

there are a few things that don't look right. the "?" seems a little too round for a ? Block, which is straighter. the shadow on the "?" isn't the proper shadow, so it looks a little funky. the brighter shade also needs some more contrast, and this is a minor nitpick, but I think a more orange tone for the darker shade would look nicer.
the brick block is alright for the most part, the only real problem I can think of are the colors, which seem too yellow (and the darker shade needs more contrast).
here're my edits:

Now I have added a "Used" Block
and upon request a purple coin. (I took the colors from the original artwork)

when compared to the other coins, the purple star coins look a little dull and lack shading.

The purple coins are kinda dull to begin with. plus they are shaded differently.

I think that the white kind of throws it off. I realize that it looks white in the sprite, but I'm not sure if that was intentional.

I'm DeathByJaguar, but you can call me Ricky, I guess. I dunno. I draw, program a little, and am writing a novel that has no title at the moment.

I think that it could do with some anti-aliasing so that the white doesn't look too sharp.
