I'd say it's worth it. The battery life really isn't THAT big of a concern (though I suppose I'm used to charging my phone pretty much daily so it's probably just based on what you're willing to put up with) but I know the XL lasts longer than my friend's regular Threeds. The screen size is honestly the biggest dealbreaker to me. It really feels like a lot of 3DS games were built to run on the larger screen, and I really can't deal with the smaller screen of the original at all. It's too small. I'd say go for it if you've got the money. The only thing is that it's not quite as portable and it might not fit your pockets if you're wearing real skinny jeans. And if it does fit, it might look a bit doofy. Oh also. Depending on hand size the XL might be a tad awkward to deal with the distance between controls.

But yeah, it's always come with a charger in the US.

I just realized Nintendo kinda forgot about Luigi's actual birthday. He got a whole year, but not his birthday.

Assuming, that is, that his birthday would be July 14, 1983, Wikipedia's stated release date for Mario Bros. But if it's not, when is?

i don't think anyone would ever need a birthday party after 365 days of commemoration

I consider it one of the best SNES games ever; if you like this one, however, avoid the sequel. It's not bad per se, but it's just a fairly generic (and clunky) platformer in comparison to the first. Oh, and it has no save battery either.

Terranigma is definitely worth looking into as well. One of the best SNES RPGs out there, yet underlooked.

well, i liked the mix of genres, I really enjoy this stuff. I think that this is the only game that mixes town sim with adventure platforming, hahaha

though i didn't like the physics of the platforming in that game, it's really clunky and erratic, there would be times that jumping to the left while facing right would still move him to the right, and the small crouch he does every time he lands makes attacks harder.

I really enjoyed the town sim part a lot more, because it's like the mix of customization, shooting, puzzle and basically everything I like, all at once. It was really fun to see the towns growing and stuff.

Had the physics been more predictable, it would be the perfect game, but still, as I pointed here, it was really good.

PS: the music. THE MUSIC.

Yuzo Koshiro is the boss no matter what console he works with

I should make a cover of Fillmore, it's great music

Well, they won me over.

I guess it's time for me to preorder this.
Ganondorf's getting his ass kicked by children on that box. Must be totally embarrassing when its on store shelves around the world.

that has been happening in a lot of Disney movies/games/etc. Ganondorf doesn't need to be ashamed Tongue

To be honest, it would be a nice purchase if we were to ever get a Wii U, considering I never owned the original, and only played bits and pieces of the game. I do hope they fixed the Triforce Hunt part of the game, though, because that was obnoxious and boring. There was no challenge to it, just time wasting.

From Wikipedia
,
Quote:The game features a streamlined version of the Triforce Quest, a controversial aspect of the original game. Whereas in the original game players needed to collect a Triforce Chart for each shard of the Triforce of Courage, in the remake the player will be able to collect five Triforce of Courage shards directly from treasure chests and will only need three Triforce Charts to find shards hidden beneath the Great Sea.

That Ganondorf figure is awesome. I'll probably be preordering this..
