We all know that games have cutscene and definitely music too! Well, I was thinking of this...
Well you make music resource and video resource! It's not necessary but I would like to see them! I am waiting for reply!

Dunno about cutsenses,  but music is sound.   We have a sound resource.

Music is often released in an official soundtrack, sold separately to a game. We don't want to publish materials that can be purchased from the company directly.

In terms of cutscenes - YouTube... I mean, we aren't going to compete with YouTube.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

Game soundtracks are sold already by game publishers (normally) and thus we cannot bypass that by ripping the music directly, and distributing that for free. We can provide the tools for you to do it from your own legally owned games, but we cannot distribute the results ourselves.

I still a bit confused... What does legal means again?

Basically, what he's saying, is that it is against the law for us to rip and provide game music for free since the publishers often sell this content directly. We could get in a lot of trouble (in addition to harming the developer's business) for doing it so we don't.

Wait... I think you mean that game publishers sell music so no need to publish music here...
Am I right?

There may be a need, but it would get us into big trouble with the companies that own the music. It would be piracy.

Overclocked Remix is one site to look for if you want MP3s of fan remixes. I believe there is another site you could find with midis if you prefer those instead.

Users aren't supposed to be able to delete their own threads. I've since fixed that oversight and restored this thread since there was really no reason for it to be deleted. That being said, nothing else has changed. We still won't be providing music for the reasons outlined above.
