Music/Video resource! - MilesTheCreator - 10-06-2014 We all know that games have cutscene and definitely music too! Well, I was thinking of this... Well you make music resource and video resource! It's not necessary but I would like to see them! I am waiting for reply! RE: Music/Video resource! - eureka - 10-06-2014 Dunno about cutsenses, but music is sound. We have a sound resource. RE: Music/Video resource! - Dazz - 10-06-2014 Music is often released in an official soundtrack, sold separately to a game. We don't want to publish materials that can be purchased from the company directly. In terms of cutscenes - YouTube... I mean, we aren't going to compete with YouTube. RE: Music/Video resource! - Dazz - 10-07-2014 Game soundtracks are sold already by game publishers (normally) and thus we cannot bypass that by ripping the music directly, and distributing that for free. We can provide the tools for you to do it from your own legally owned games, but we cannot distribute the results ourselves. RE: Music/Video resource! - Petie - 10-08-2014 Basically, what he's saying, is that it is against the law for us to rip and provide game music for free since the publishers often sell this content directly. We could get in a lot of trouble (in addition to harming the developer's business) for doing it so we don't. I think you mean that game publishers sell music so no need to publish music here... Am I right? It would be piracy. Maybe other websites have music games or something or I can search it on YouTube, sorry for this stupid post RE: Music/Video resource! - Jinzo-Advance - 10-08-2014 Overclocked Remix is one site to look for if you want MP3s of fan remixes. I believe there is another site you could find with midis if you prefer those instead. Bye RE: Music/Video resource! - Petie - 10-11-2014 Users aren't supposed to be able to delete their own threads. I've since fixed that oversight and restored this thread since there was really no reason for it to be deleted. That being said, nothing else has changed. We still won't be providing music for the reasons outlined above. |
