I may have just replied based on the screenshot... oops. Is it still doing that? AdBlock, even when whitelisted, can sometimes still break aspects of the page so I'd try it in a new window with add-ons disabled and see if that fixes it.

It's my fault that I forgot that the theater posters were already uploaded by Dazz...
However mine has the other elements of the theater and not just the posters.

Dazz, since you're the one who uploaded it (At least you run the site. Tongue), which one should stay and which one should go?

I think the best solution would be if you could make your sheet a bit better organised... It's just a giant mess as it stands compared to the one I contributed. Try to take some time with how sheets are arranged, I've noticed a trend lately of submissions that are just a bunch of sprites thrown into the sprite sheet maker in a random order with no consistency or direction. Try to make your sheets neat and presentable Smile
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

wow...
You're definitely right there, lots of wasted space and some inconsistencies in the new one.
Actually, when I browse this site when looking for rips to use for <insert project here>, I have two main criteria:
present ability, and use-ability. The latter is rare to come by, it seems. In those regards, though, this is not the worse sheet I've seen.

And yeah, the problem with automated tools is people sometimes start getting lazy and not running quality control, or manually adjusting/making stuff...

Speaking of sheet formatting, hopefully these will provide with some examples? :
Projectiles
Projectiles
Alien Buildings
Alien Buildings

I used the background color soley as padding so the original sprite/sub-sheet boundaries are clearly visible.
However, these don't really have the issue with sprites several times the size of others.

Anyways, hope someone finds that use-able as reference?

OK, thanks for the "constructive criticism". I just extracted the whole thing (TPLs have no appropriate naming) and got this. I'll resubmit it soon...

If I may add this bit, I observed that one issue you had was smaller sprites (i'm assuming they're icons of some sort) are not all together. What you can do is put all those in one folder, and keep doing that with "similar" sprites...
then drag the whole group of folders onto the sheet maker. IDK which you used, though...I used Daxar's to assemble one sheet so far (which isn't yet submitted, nor planned any time soon) I had a few folders for each sprite, as this character has like 5 or 7 animations , and in total, 220+ frames! That got assembled into a nice, nearly 10,000 pixel wide sprite sheet...xD Anyways, those smaller icon things you could sort through (even in manually) and put in a folder "icons" the theater stuff could go in "stage" , etc... Just a thought... Or have you already fixed these?

So this happened not too recently....although it fixed later. Why did it happen, though?

Occasionally, the database exhausts all of its available connections. I've actually been meaning to increase that limit.

Edit:
Increased the limit. I'm hoping that problem won't pop back up now.

It happened anymore, so that's good. Thanks a lot!
Not that this matters, but, what exactly do the stars mean by your user?

This thread should cover that quite nicely.

I don't want to get off topic from here, but...

I haven't fixed them yet, I already have quite a few WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase sprite sheets to rip and upload (Focusing on the "DLC" stuff from the NinSoft Store now). Do you honestly think this one is better? Just wanted to know what you think... Smile

looks pretty ok to me.
Seems to be as compact as you can get them, other than removing the 1-pixel gaps, but that doesn't matter a whole lot.

Edit: Thanks For moving this for me, I should have looked harder I guess.

There are some rips for the game Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage in the SNES section but the rips are from the Genesis version.

Here are links to the Genesis rips that are in the SNES section.

Some of the differences in the enemy and boss sprites are very subtle. But I'm sure they are from the Genesis.I have compared them.
The only two I have not actually compared are Carnage and Muzzoid. But like all the others they where submitted by Apocalypse, So I think its safe to say they are from Genesis.
