regarding the sprite, hair doesnt seem to follow the line of the skull. she looks like frankenstein wearing a wig right now. while his head is leaning a bit backwards, her hair is still horizontal

but remove all the blank space. It IS a problem, and I'm sure that if it wasn't chadmartin, you guys would be complaining about it.

i would complain if we were in 1996 were loading a 11kbpng image would take 3 minutes and if it was empty space on a sprite sheet.

That is not the case, metboy
It's more about keeping your contents harmonically placed in the sheet. Of course, this case is not that bad, but cutting all the unecessary space will only make it better imo.
