Ball Project[Huge DemoRelease] - King of Bad Posters - 02-24-2009 Well I've been spriting a basic rpg game based on a sprite ball in chaos sig made by cookie and been working on a game. Here are the sprites i have Here the Screen shot of the game Working on Demo rite now. Still not done spriting the other jobs. It features 4 npcs that changes your jobs experience lvls and 1 monster so far in screen shot shows the monsters. This is just a very small demo just kill the monster experience there jobs,the lvl requirement is 3 and exp is 30 i made it easy to level just for the demo but for game it will be harder. One huge problem though; for all the short-ranged classes, you can never hit an enemy without getting your self hurt. Also, damage never seems to vary, i.e, the different arrow techniques all do the same damage. (I'm sure your already aware of this, I'm just pointing out the things I notice.) - and also, my own advice, I reckon you should shrink the window down in size, games which have massive blank spaces over the majority of the screen with small sprites/characters tend to get considered noobish. And also, another thing, you can't change classes whilst you already have one selected. .. or was there a way of removing the class somehow without turning it on and off again? xD RE: Ball Project - King of Bad Posters - 02-26-2009 The hurt problem im trying my best to fix. The numbers didnt varie purposely i have to sprite 1-9 then i will make the attacks random. Also i will make the screen smaller and as for the jobs once you pic a job you stick with it you cant change it ima make it so when you turn into a warior at lvl 3 lvl 20 you can change your job again to a knight fighter etc. Ima add a npc that turns you back to a begginner so if you dont like the job you can become another. In next demo ill have different damage 3 more 1st job advancements fixed hp problem 1 more monster Npc that changes you into a begginner. Any other glitches you found that should be fixed?? Also the attacks for some of the classes are really boring. This game has potential, though. |
