RE: Anybody want MMF2? - Vipershark - 10-22-2009

MMF2 is better than Game Maker.
Just sayin'

RE: Anybody want MMF2? - Alpha Six - 10-22-2009

yeah, but hard-coded programming is better than MMF2

just sayin'

so in the end who cares what you use as long as you make a good game

RE: Anybody want MMF2? - Vipershark - 10-23-2009

j/w tyvon have you used mmf2
you still get all the functionality of hard coding stuff, but it's in a more graphical interface.

you can still code if you want, but it's much easier to put your code into an object once and not have to type all the code out.
You sinply edit parameters, and if you need another thing coded, you code that in.

You also don't have to make extra coding to have multiple instances of the same object onscreen.

RE: Anybody want MMF2? - Alpha Six - 10-23-2009

i have not

but that's not the point

i'm talking hardcoding like C++, XNA, etc, not hardcoding that's within the program itself.

hardcoding is generally the best option, but in the end who cares? if you make a good game it doesn't matter what program you used.
