RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Kriven - 09-14-2011 Apparently the "general public" doesn't understand how much each and every one of their dollars is worth. Either that or mommy and daddy buy everything. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Alpha Six - 09-14-2011 The "general public" doesn't even know that this thing exists. If you actually look around multiple news sites, you can tell that a lot of people are upset or even just worried (like me). Anyway, it looks like the device will cost about $20 (pulling this from a news source), so that's not too bad. It's still kind of wishy-washy though. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Kriven - 09-14-2011 I suppose that's still under two hundred for a new system, to those who haven't bought one yet. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Holy fuck, it's $20. THATS OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. Also, to say the general public doesn't know about this is crap. Everyone in my Game and Design Major knows about it, and if even if one didn't know about it, its pretty simple to explain what it is, so that they are informed, and from most people I've discussed it with besides you guys, people are just fine with it. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Maxpphire - 09-15-2011 You also don't have to buy the damn thing right away, you can hold off for a little while too, it's not a big deal really. Edit: Game and Design Majors should know of this, why? because it has to do with product design and video games, still doesn't count as people like my sister Jenni and her family. (Which includes a 7 year old niece who has her own DS and Wii) RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Vipershark - 09-15-2011 General Public =/= people in a college course about videogames who actually know things about videogames RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Gwen - 09-15-2011 You know I'm done with this. RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Chibi - 09-15-2011 I don't understand how a system is flawed just because they decide to add a little something extra. Attachments really don't mean that they made it flawed, they just found something they liked and went with it. Kinect? Playstation move? Those are optional attachments, does that make both those major and very successful consoles flawed? I don't think so. They add more to keep the public entertained, just like whats happening here. It leaves room for more types of games to be produced and distributed on an already unique console And PsP, PS Vita, have never really been to huge on gaming, at least PsP, Vita isn't released yet. If developers are going to drop out of Nintendo, which usually has a giant following to go over to a handheld that is already potentially in the red because of it's predecessor, then it's the developers fault at this point for making a bad career move Honestly, it's fun to watch you guys talk and act like you know exactly what's going on with everybody in the public, how their feeling and what their going to do with every new thing coming out into existence, and never taking anybody else opinions that slightly doesn't go along with your own. Like a horrible movie critic that doesn't know what their talking about. Please, keep it up though, it's definitely giving me a good laugh Deal With It
RE: I like how no one is talking about the Nintendo 3DS Price drop - Kriven - 09-15-2011 The PS Move and the Kinect were launched years and years after their consoles were wildly successful. 3DS hasn't even been out for one of those. I don't think it'd be a problem if the 3DS waited longer, but it's the timing that makes this a ball kicker. |
