You're allowed to be a fan of both things. RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - ~Axis~ - 05-07-2012 I currently am. What I meant was that I would have been completely done with Sonic, and would have never given him a second glance. Mega Collection is all the old Genesis ones, which you seem to adore. The Gem one is arcade games which is probably give or take. So, essentially, the game on the Gamecube you hate is Heroes. 1 single game. I think it just sort of weirds me out that iOS, W7 phone and Android get this and it's completely absent from Nintendo's products, especially when Colours being on only Nintendo products sold just as well as Generations which was on all current gen. excluding Wii. Granted, it's because of hardware restrictions, but I really never thought the 3DS or Wii was that constricting for a side-scrolling Sonic game. RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - Kriven - 05-07-2012 Heroes and Shadow. RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - Crappy Blue Luigi - 05-07-2012 sonic riders. As it is Sonic 4 Episode 1 barely made it, and they had to simulate the music with a soundfont to make it fit. There's a possibility of it getting put on a disk later on in a Sonic 4 Complete pack, but there's no guarantee for that either. Which seems kind of silly to even bother putting in since those, if at all barely matter since they're well you know, Ports? RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - Jawnsunn - 05-07-2012 Ports that include Sonic CD, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Ristar? Take my fucking money. RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - Vipershark - 05-07-2012 That got me thinking... A Retro Engine-style port of Ristar. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - TGE - 05-08-2012 Heroes wasn't that bad... The idea is quite nice. The physics were a bit lacky sometimes and some levels could be frustratingly hard like Rail Canyon, Bingo Highway. By the way they are Sonic Plastic Warriors after all. RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - ~Axis~ - 05-08-2012 I thought Sonic Heroes FUCKING SUCKED! The graphics weren't gamecube quality, If they made it for the dreamcast, it could have run it perfectly! Most of the level design wasn't appealing. Oh, may I forget the Robot storm boss in mystic mansion with team dark? The only way you could destroy the big robots is if you inflict all damage before its health bar dissapeared (otherwise it would regain all of its health), which was like what? 2 seconds? I disliked shadow the hedgehog, not because of the storyline (i kinda enjoyed it in fact), but for the fact that in some stages, if you were playing as the hero (or dark), the game engine automaticaly rockets you forward with no control what so ever and makes you hit a swich/path/trigger that you should avoid taking. Here's another thing, in sonic heroes and shadow the hedgehog, the game engine takes control over you when you go through loops and curvy pathways. Which really does FUCKING SUCK! What's the point of putting those there if you can't even actually go throught the loop YOURSELF? Some people would actually miss the feeling of stopping half way through a loop and falling to your doom. At least you did it yourself. P.S: about the gamecube games I hated... Yes it included sonic gems/mega collection. I didn't find any reason to buy it (since by the time, I've already played near all of the sega genesis/saturn/CD/gamegear series exept for knuckles chaotix. Which I have yet to try,) RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - NICKtendo DS - 05-08-2012 (05-07-2012, 08:03 PM)ApocHedgie Wrote: There's a possibility of it getting put on a disk later on in a Sonic 4 Complete pack, but there's no guarantee for that either. If they do this Sonic 3 & Knuckles lock-on* style, SEGA can have my money. *If I can play as Metal on every stage, it'd be perfect. RE: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode: II - Crappy Blue Luigi - 05-08-2012 oh man, i can't wait for Sonic 4: Episode 3, where you control Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, all at the same time let's show that creep the REAL super power of teamwork!! |
