RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-18-2012 Thanks for the code! Here he is! As far as I know, this is the last unused character. The only other things unused here are just poses for other characters. And Ton, you may want to have those battle backgrounds in their own sub-section because there will might be close to 10 sheets. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Jdaster64 - 04-18-2012 Is there anyway that you could list the poses you think you're missing on the overworld sheets, A.J.? There's a ton of sprites to go through. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-18-2012 I did make a list on one of the earlier post, but I'll just post the list again here: Mario: Hurt Poses (all directions), Flipping (back-diagonal, and back), letting Baby Mario climb on back (back-diagonal, and back), Luigi: Hurt Poses (all directions), Flipping (front-diagonal), letting Baby Luigi climb on back (back-diagonal, and back), Baby Mario: Hurt Poses (all directions), drinking water, getting hit by Baby Luigi's Hammer while fat (back-diagonal, and back), climbing on Mario's back (all directions) Baby Luigi: Hurt Poses (all directions), climbing on Luigi's back (all directions) Adult & Baby Combos: Hurt Poses (all directions), separate overlapping sprites (ex. Luigi and the cookie, Adult tossing Baby. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Jdaster64 - 04-19-2012 A lot of the adult+baby poses don't actually come seperately, oddly enough. I'm pretty sure that in the case of Luigi and the cookie, there is probably a cookie-less version in the ROM. I'm also not sure exactly what you mean by "hurt" and "flipping" poses; could you post a screenshot of an example? EDIT: Nope. Apparently the cookie's part of the sprite too. I'll see what I can do by the weekend; I don't have too much work the next week. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Ridge Troopa - 04-19-2012 Just thought I'd let you all know that there are more sheets to finish. Anything on the site in PiT ripped by Boo Mansion is incomplete; I've had to rip a few animations of several sheets by him for personal reference, and every single one was either arranged incorrectly or missing frames. Not only that but on some sheets (ex. Yoshi, Bowser, Petey Piranha, etc) he left out entire attack animations or overworld poses. Here's everything by him, which I can guaruntee it's worth re-ripping: Coconutter Yoshi Bean Shop (animations are probably incomplete) Fawful Petey Piranha Koopeleon/Gold Koopeleon Baby Bowser Bowser Kamek Shroob Also, AJ, on that Shrooboid Brat battle background, you forgot to rip the Shroobs' animations and holding up signs. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Jdaster64 - 04-19-2012 Yeah, Yoshi in particular is missing a ton of poses. Yoshi Magic should be able to view all of the overworld sprites with relatively few issues. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-19-2012 @Ridge: Ya, I know. when using Yoshi Magic, you can only get the background, but not the animations that comes with it. I can't get it that easily in game either. So ya, I just get whatever Yoshi Magic gives me. @Jdaster: This is what I mean by hurt and flipping. I just used the MLSS Mario's hurt poses as an example. You pretty much get it when the enemy makes the first hit on you before the battle begins. Another problem with that is that you won't always get the characters in that pose. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-19-2012 Okay, I don't know what I was thinking when I said that there would more 12 sheets of these because this is the rest of them. Anyway Ton, I moved Whomp to NPC's since he doesn't have any battle poses. And any reason these are under miscellaneous and not backgrounds? And Mighty, definitely use Yoshi Magic if you're still working on Kylie. You'll probably find most of her poses here from later in the game, but you may want to watch some walkthrough videos just to be sure. You might even run into a few unused poses. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Garamonde - 04-19-2012 A.J., my man, I was planning on it. Also, try using min.us because imgur just won't cut it for everything. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-19-2012 Thanks Mighty, it worked. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Ridge Troopa - 04-20-2012 I hate to be a stick in the mud, but AJ, if you're not going to rip the animated tiles for the battle background at least get someone else to do it. I would offer but I don't have any save states for PiT. It's just that you know, without the animations they're sort of... well... incomplete. Also, you should probably add the stuff I listed in the first post, since none of those are complete either. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-20-2012 Hey I completely understand. I'll leave the backgrounds as they are for now while just leaving the animated backgrounds up for grabs. And do you think you could be more specific as to what's missing from the enemies? Like what's incomplete, the battle or the overworld? Anyway for now, here is how the Yoshi sheet should look completed. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-20-2012 You forgot to say that Lakitu was incomplete. Couldn't find any other directions for the suction cup poses. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - A.J. Nitro - 04-21-2012 Guys, guess what?! I just found out that Yoshi Magic has all the missing Playable Poses I was looking for plus a crap load of unused poses. It might be take a while to finish, but it'll be worth it. It's a shame I didn't discover this sooner. Otherwise I wouldn't have to play through the whole game. It's too bad that we can get the battle poses, though. WE WILL FINISH THIS GAME!! And Ridge, you were planning on getting Bowser's troops from M&L:BIS, correct? Any chance on you seeing if Yoshi Magic will have those characters for you? All you need is the rom. No need for saves. RE: M&L: Partners in Time Ripping Project - Ton - 04-21-2012 Oh. Hell. Yes. |
