RE: TSRpg - SchAlternate - 05-21-2013 Gabble dabble made Atreyu sprites rabble babble Since he's more stickman-like I made him a bit more skinny than the rest. Also he looks like a midget (Well, his size is comparable to that of a beetle, after all). RE: TSRpg - Zapchu25 - 05-22-2013 Newcomer: Zappy! Had fun with this one. Don't usually dabble in 8-Bit too much. I want to work with the fishies (Edited the skin colour of the battle sprite, didn't think it was too important to repost) RE: TSRpg - Gors - 05-23-2013 made the sausage bat as enemy because of popular demand. Now they're the Flying Frankfurt and the Winged Wiener. I also made mugshots for Arisa, Sengi~ and Runa. RE: TSRpg - Garamonde - 05-23-2013 Sengi~ and Runa looks slightly out of style, because of the lack of highlights. RE: TSRpg - Candel - 05-23-2013 Novice spriter, been a year since I sprited last I did this on my laptop, anyone help with editing it if its accepted into the NPC roster? RE: TSRpg - Hiynastrike - 05-23-2013 I made some edits on myself... If I can't make Enemies I can make Overworld stuff RE: TSRpg - SchAlternate - 05-23-2013 (05-23-2013, 12:14 PM)Candel Wrote: Coulda used a better pallet. Red and brown don't mix that well. Maybe replace brown with a more orange-ish color? RE: TSRpg - Virtuaboy123 - 05-23-2013 Hey sorry everyone I meant to add this when I saw everyone making small mugshots (i posted this in the love thread i think) I think this size will fit VX better. RE: TSRpg - Hiynastrike - 05-23-2013 will the Mugshots have different expressions? RE: TSRpg - Virtuaboy123 - 05-23-2013 as of now no, but essentially it should capture the characters personality. RE: TSRpg - Sengir - 05-23-2013 wouldnt it be better to scale the small ones as with the rest of the sprites? RE: TSRpg - Davy Jones - 05-24-2013 (05-23-2013, 10:07 PM)Sengir Wrote: wouldnt it be better to scale the small ones as with the rest of the sprites?I think so, because monsters, characters and tiles are already super-small. RE: TSRpg - ~Axis~ - 05-24-2013 Just so you know, my ref's personality is a goofy, experienced fighter. A goofy Goku smile should do . As for attack info: -Mostly high speed saiyan-fighting (i.e. Hard hitting blows) and powerful energy attacks. -Strong defense capabilities. -Isn't able to withstand status ailments well. -Optional: Gains extra EXP when leveling up at near death. I read somewhere in this thread about the need for a spooky area, how 'bout a cemetary? Perhaps the enemies could be based off of (or be?) past member's refs? If I can't make Enemies I can make Overworld stuffYou don't have enough movement visible, Hiyna. With such small sprites you really need to exaggerate the actions so they show up on screen. I think Virtuaboy also had some character templates to go by (my body type is same as Gors etc etc), so I'd just follow those for the sake of uniform-ness (?). Also I'd vote for the smaller mugshots, personally. I don't know how you plan to use them but given the color limitations they looker better smaller. When you have them at the larger size they seem unfinished-ish. RE: TSRpg - SchAlternate - 05-24-2013 I vote for smaller mugshots too. If they're to be used for textboxes and the sort, the might as well be even smaller, unless you dont mind mugshots sticking out of the box, or the box occupiying almost half the screen. |
