It's been a fucking WHILE since I've seen Wart, and he pretty much established most of the Mario Universe for us (Shy Guys, Bob-Ombs, etc.) and Waluigi will be his second in command. I hated the fact that the final boss was nothing more then a dream, or we could bring back the ORIGIONAL cast from Doki Doki Panic, Mario wouldn't got his all-round stats if it weren't for them!

What would make an awesome Koopa Kids experience for me is if you fought all of them in ONE castle as like a series of bosses, and each one got harder and harder. I doubt that will happen though.

What I'm hoping for is that they at least make them fight in a new way, but the screenshot doesn't really reinforce that. HOWEVER, it is just one screenshot, and they don't necessarily want to give too much away right away, so here's hoping. Another thing I'm afraid of though is Reznor ending up being the same miniboss in each world. That gets a bit boring too.

"oh so they are basically reusing everything they used in the previous games of the series(let alone from older games) including powerups, mechanics, level desings and characters and added minor gimmicks and edits to their propierties so they would basically do the exact same thing but with a small, insignificant change with barely any improvement or diference at all so it would not look as if we didn't change/added anything at all

whatever desing choices were posibly done to not consider Wario and Waluigi to not be the 3rd and 4th player are basically dumb.

To be honest I think that they either 1) didn't actually think about it or 2) figured that Wario is too fat to jump high enough. Even so, I agree, that would have been an infinitely awesome feature.

Well, if all players are Miis, P3 and P4 wear Wario and Waluigi's overalls respectively.
I think it's BS that all players are 'Marios' (they chose Toads, since they better fit that profile for some reason). Like I mentioned somewhere back in this topic, a different playstyle adds to a game like Knuckles in Sonic 3. Something as simple as some paths being harder and some easier to take as someone else makes a level more interesting to revisit, let alone character specific paths.

I honestly think Wario and Waluigi wouldn't fit on the game. But then again we had Wario on Super Mario 64 DS, so idk, I guess Nintendo can make it work if they want, it's just that it's strange to picture the Wario Bros running alongside the Mario Bros to save the princess, they're not the "nice guys".

That's why that whole competing for coins thing would have been a perfect way to introduce them.

Wario will do anything for money. Even help Mario save the princess.
