RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - valforwing - 10-09-2014 i'm surprized by how HQ the models are for a handheld. they are actually more HQ then the PokePark models. do you think you could rip The Looker? (a.k.a. that detective guy that looks like David Tennant/The Doctor) oh, what do flames look like when they are ripped? most Pokemon like moltres and charizard's flames are either not part of the model at all or are a single flat plane of texture which does'nt convert well to MMD. like Charizard X's mouth flames RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Lilothestitch - 10-10-2014 RTB I have a question for you. How do you make 3DS Max Scripts like the Pokémon X & Y Model Importer Script that you're making? RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Shroomsy - 10-10-2014 Is it any faster or easier to rip just the textures for a model and upload them here? I want to request just the textures for Metagross, but I see that the model is already on the waiting list. RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Kazo - 10-10-2014 For anyone interested. here is pretty much every pokemon model in obj/mtl format with textures, no bones. https://www.mediafire.com/?3s1egblj1u33ktw there are some problems with some of them but i am not interested to work on them anymore. just going to wait for RTB models with bones, but decided to upload these for anyone who wants to look at them while waiting,. comes with a simple browser based model viewer, just open index.html. These where ripped all at once with a program i made, and then been going through tweaking things manually. RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project (Preliminary) - Random Talking Bush - 10-11-2014 This freakin' MaxScript is driving me nuts. If anybody cares enough to want to try it out, here it is in its currently-broken condition. Use the one with "_2012" at the end instead if you're using 3DS Max 2012-2014, since those are stupid and alphabetize things without warning -- this kills the rigging. 2015 users are outta luck for the moment, there's something up with that version that breaks even the tweaked importer... As for the models themselves, here are the original BCH files for the Pokémon. If you're looking for the textures, they are all in the archive that Kazo put up in the previous post. Except for Spinda and its missing textures, but screw that thing I'll deal with it later. I'll probably regret doing this right now, but like I said it's starting to frustrate me how it works for a bunch of things and then for another chunk it's completely broken, and that some people are getting impatient towards me and the things I do... Just don't go ripping any models that I have listed in the first post under "Next set planned", I've had my proverbial toes stepped on so many times in the past and I'm asking you politely not to do the same to me again. RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - hminth - 10-11-2014 hi, thx for providing, i tried your script with 3dsmax 2011 32bit on 10 random models and everything worked fine as i saw. only had to rotate the root bone 90deg on x on every model, and bulbasaurs ivy wasnt skinned. i dont know maxscript but id have some suggestions if theyre possible. every object is skinned with every bone - would there be a possible algorithm to remove zero weight bones from the skin? for completion the end "nubs" bones are necessary but maybe confusing - is it possible to check before importing to remove them? i assume you extract textures separately? how can i (we) support you? RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - o0DemonBoy0o - 10-11-2014 Thanks for all your hard work RTB. I tried out all the Eeveelutions and Vaporeon was the only one that didn't import properly. It was missing faces on it's face. Everything else worked fine though. Also out of curiosity, is there anything different with the 3ds logo models of Xerneas and Yveltal? RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Mystie - 10-11-2014 Man, I'd love to take a look at the script, but since 3DSMax costs too much money, and I can't find a cracked version that works.......yeah... RTB one more thing. Is it alright if I try to convert those Pokémon X & Y models for MMD? You could always try the Student version of 3DSMax. It's essentially the full version free with a three year license. Try it out on Autodesk's website . And as for the other question, I'm actually not sure, particularly because I don't know what I'd need to do to extract the "logo" model files. But RTB told me that the Student versions are no longer free. Plus, he says that the script does not work with anything past 2011, so...yeah, I'm fucked. RE: Pokémon X/Y Model Ripping Project - Random Talking Bush - 10-11-2014 (10-11-2014, 01:00 PM)Mystie Wrote:Try this one. It should work in at least 2012 and 2013 (which I just tested it in), haven't tested 2014 and I know for a fact it's broken in 2015 because of a different problem (good job keeping things compatible, Autodesk). I've had to add numbering to the beginning of each bone to prevent it from ignoring the ordering (again, 2012+'s fault).(10-11-2014, 12:52 PM)The Prawn Wrote:(10-11-2014, 11:03 AM)Mystie Wrote: Man, I'd love to take a look at the script, but since 3DSMax costs too much money, and I can't find a cracked version that works.......yeah... |
