RE: Costumes - Ton - 09-07-2009 I mean Phantom Ganon is a variation of OoT Ganondorf. We can't have a variation of a variation as the alternate. That's why I said OoT Ganondorf should be the alternate. RE: Costumes - Kriven - 09-09-2009 How about Purple Hair AlttP Link for Young or Toon Link? RE: Costumes - nicktheslayer - 09-10-2009 (09-09-2009, 05:54 PM)Kriven Wrote: How about Purple Hair AlttP Link for Young or Toon Link? That would be kinda cool. Also, we HAVE to have the green and brown original styled Toon Link. Also, for Mario, he jump man suit, (The red and blue are reversed), and the red and brown suit NES suit Maybe a set of classic style suits for everyone? RE: Costumes - Ton - 09-10-2009 That ca nbe done with palette swaps. Geez, people. RE: Costumes - Alpha Six - 09-10-2009 Wait, did we seriously just go back to talking about alternate colors? RE: Costumes - Ton - 09-10-2009 Yep. RE: Costumes - nicktheslayer - 09-10-2009 Ill think of something... Also, could we upload our custom pallettes into the game, and apply them to certain characters? Or is that even possible? RE: Costumes - Alpha Six - 09-10-2009 Not sure if it can be done in Flash, but if you make every character monochrome to a certain degree, it's possible to change their colors inside the game. I know this is possible in GM, because I've done something similar before. RE: Costumes - Ekoi - 09-10-2009 With flash, it'd be more effort that it's worth, methinks. I mean, it's most certainly possible, it'd just be horribly tedious. Then there's having the palette data being used in the online mode.(which I would hope be one of the main goals.) RE: Costumes - Alpha Six - 09-10-2009 That's easily possible, just send the color files as variables, just like you would the character data. RE: Costumes - Kriven - 09-10-2009 Oh yeah, I don't know why I was thinking AlttP Link would be more than a color >.> Woops >.>; I was all "Different Link!" and yeah... anyways... Maybe for Game & Watch we could try to make him more resemble the characters from Game & Watch Gallery? http://spriters-resource.com/gameboy/gnwgal2/sheet/22190 See how the chef has distinct details? Making him the alt for Game&Watch could work. Oh yeah! great idea! And we can put the kind of lion game too ^^ RE: Costumes - Jdaster64 - 09-10-2009 (09-10-2009, 05:03 PM)Kriven Wrote: Oh yeah, I don't know why I was thinking AlttP Link would be more than a color >.> Woops >.>; I was all "Different Link!" and yeah... anyways... Now this is a good idea. Certainly there are five or six hats/outfits he can wear, rather than unnecessary, garish palette swaps (other than for red, blue, and green teams). RE: Costumes - Gold - 09-10-2009 I already said that for Game&Watch Excepty instead of the chef hat I said cap. I guess everybody either missed it or I worded it poorly. :\ RE: Costumes - Ton - 09-10-2009 That's a G&W I can get behind. |
