I am kind of new to 3ds max. you don't have to use 3ds max. you could just scale it down in whatever 3d program you like to use. THE MODEL IS SO TINY!!!! I tried making it bigger and ALL my 3D programs won't let me do it!!! and they have a small zoom limit and it stops zooming before i even get to the model!!! I don't think this is working. I CANNOT scale down. It is just impossible. in 3ds max, the model is moving in the perceptive window and I lose it too quickly because it is getting smaller. and if I do fix it, it is just one pixel in that window!!! please help me!!! EDIT: what difficulty level is this? expert? advanced? I am a newbie at this. (I am supposed to get a yellow triangle and I don't see that.) RE: [Tutorial] How to rip PS2 models v.2 - MaiconRastaman - 03-21-2014 In the end my model is black with gray parts, what I did wrong? RE: [Tutorial] How to rip PS2 models v.2 - ultimatesoulx - 03-31-2014 This works great! I was wondering if there are any good tutorials out there to place textures? I tried applying the texture (this model had 4 different textures), and it comes out weirdly in the applied area? I was trying to apply this image (its a bitmap, so it turned white when I uploaded to imgur) RE: [Tutorial] How to rip PS2 models v.2 - It's No Use! - 03-31-2014 Instead of the picture being a .obj file, it's saved as another file that's not readable. Karpo's 3D Object Converter can read model files from that game, but the character models appear to be mangled with only the head intact.what exactly do I do to fix this? im not getting a obj file, same as him. Pardon me for asking DemonBoy, but did you do a similar process for taking the models from Alice Madness Returns? I used the models you put up, and they work great. However, when I ripped my own models using 3DS Max, they came out...different. Can you please tell me how you did it or what changes you made to the .obj? RE: [Tutorial] How to rip PS2 models v.2 - MenDude - 06-19-2014 When I click run a message saying "Sh*t Happened!" (uncensored) appears and my anti-virus detects a virus. Using 0.9.8 version of PCSX2, I have ran it as administrator, added it to exceptions list, etc. but to no avail. RE: [Tutorial] How to rip PS2 models v.2 - senjen - 06-19-2014 you have to shut your anti virus off in order to use texmod. RE: [Tutorial] How to rip PS2 models v.2 - MenDude - 06-19-2014 I found that messages minutes after my post. But thank you in anyway. |
