There's seriously way too much going on with Kirby's shading.
It's takes more than knowing a lot about Kirby. It's knowing how to sprite; generally saying.
Gosh that makes me sound like a real arse, but yeah I really stand by it. It was much better and simpler before.

I did these a long time ago. I thought maybe I'd work on the walking to get it out of the way since it's such a boring thing to sprite but I think I got frustrated and gave up. Maybe I'll try to work on these again.

Oh, I think imageshack probably changed my colors a little. Isn't there a way to prevent that? I don't remember.

Try saving it as a .bmp instead of .png.
Imageshack will upload it as a .png and it's possible that it'll save the original colors.

They arent exactly terrible. A tad ugly, but not too bad. But yeah, the middle ones look best
