well it's kind of complicated, practically we would get the rom of the game online, and put it into the player for the computer (Desume)

then we would hack the game to give us the complete pokedex, then go into the pokedex, there is a section that plays the animations for you, and we would use a program called AnimGet which records all frames as long as a change happens. But before we would record it we would turn off the layers in the game to when only the animation of the pokemon is showing. Once the frames are saved we would use a program called Beneton Movie GIF where we would load all the frames and make the background transparent and set the fram delay. After that we would load the animation into Gimp and crop the image as small as we can make it without cuting and of its parts out.

I hate to be bugging again, but has anyone been able to rip the Egg and Manaphy Egg sprites? I know there's hacks to make them appear in the game, but I don't think you can use the normal Pokedex method to get the sprites. I'm looking for these for a project and for the moment have been stuck manually animating the D/P Egg sprite since it looks about the same.

Here's Grimer but Scizors animation has so many frames I can't animate it.

It repeats the normal 3 times then plays the special twice.
