Also this is such a great project, haha. Wario soon followed suit and spun off from Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land (not sure of Woods, it could be Toad's only solo adventure, but it features Wario), then Luigi and Peach with their own spinoff games (Leaving Bowser and co. the only ones not to have a spinoff title.. yet). Makes me wonder that if a certain point in time there will be a spinoff title featuring Sengi. Thanks for the comment! what I do at work: RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Gors - 06-22-2012 RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Iceman404 - 06-22-2012 Ah yes, that grass looks much better. and you know how much I like my grass RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Ploaj - 06-22-2012 I forgot all about slopes :o I think slopes will have issues. The one that immediately comes to mind is how are the minecraft blocks and other carry-able objects supposed to interact with them. Should they rotate to the angle of the slope or bounce off them or what. Edit: It seems a bit late to be adding platforming elements such as slopes. I had to completely redo everything about blocks and their adjustment code... So far though it seems like it won't interfere with anything. But like I thought, the grabable objects glitch up a bit when they hit a slope. They just bounce around a lot until they hit the ground. Not really as bad as it could be. Lastly having all this new block stuff drastically reduces frame-rate to the point where the game is almost unplayable.. I don't really know what to do about this.. I have 2 options that might work but they are both really difficult to do.. I'll try the easier one out to see if it helps. RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Gors - 06-22-2012 ploaj, if slopes prove to be too difficult, then you're free to scrap them. I didn't think it was hard to implement it, and I don't want to give you trouble :'< also a minor nitpick: make the bottom tiles not show the rubbles. They're supposed to only show on floating platforms. Or else, it'll look like the entire field is floating RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Iceman404 - 06-22-2012 I think sliding down slopes would be really uncomfortable in a dress. |
