protip: post decent fanart in your deviantart gallery, fave other people's artwork and communicate with other DA'ers (a lot)

ex: Zepheon (one of my fakemon) has over 1,100 faves. It wouldn't have been so faved if I didn't draw fakemon beforehand
You can draw original artwork on an alternate account (on DA or on your own site)

i used to suck up to people a lot, as in fave and fave and suck more balls
and i did get decent amount of faves
but then i got banned ^___^ (has 3 banned accounts)
it actually pissed me off when i saw a fucking awesome piece that had no recognition at all omg. i found one that reminded me of sam-m's style, and nobody was seeing his stuff because he never commented oin anyone's either.

once i was banned for "stealing" sprites. They were Mario sprites and they thought i ripped them.
for the two other times, i posted in the forums, and i was some sort of radical with a "nobody cares what you think" and "trading faves is lame" attitude, and the mods didn't like it. I made some online "friends" there, too, but most of them got banned because of how they thought, so.
