RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Ton - 10-28-2010 The Desman is in the lead now and I've seen a few people change their vote from hippo. I think the choice is fairly obvious. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - StarSock64 - 10-28-2010 If I wasn't still sick I'd love to y'know, actually contribute something, khh If I have a chance while I'm on fall break I might try to start spriting. I guess we need to finalize designs, too RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 10-28-2010 So our starter Pokémon are based on a frilled lizard, a ram and a desman, yes? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-29-2010 I guess. If that's okay with everyone? Then we should get crack'n on making those designs. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-29-2010 I've updated the first post with the concept work. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Blitz - 10-29-2010 Maybe we could make a pokemon based off of the mythological creature Kirin(sometimes called qilin) It would be an electric type. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - mutantyoshi - 10-30-2010 that could be a good legendary pokemon RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-30-2010 Well submit some drawings. Doodle some stuff. Oh and you guys are allowed to discuss other Pokemon ideas if you want but you can't design them until the starters are done. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - StarSock64 - 10-30-2010 Needed a break from the tutorial I'm attempting to make so I made some scribbles Doesn't look starter-first-evo-ish enough to me, probably the face. Maybe I'll try some more another time. And yeah I clearly cheated on the smoke Ended up trying some more: RE: TSR PokeDex Project - PikaYoshiGirl - 10-30-2010 I have a few ideas. One of them is a grass-type raccoon. Here's the concept art: Another one is a fire/grass-type crocodile. I thought of this before the 5th generation came out, though, so you might not need another crocodile. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-30-2010 PikaYoshiGirl, read my first post please. There's some rules and guidelines you need to know first. "-Make sure types make sense." This basically mean for the most part we need a reason why a certain animal is that type. It doesn't have to be the best reason but it can't just be because you felt like giving a Pokemon a certain type. Why is the raccoon Grass? Why is the crocodile Fire/ Grass? Ask these questions before you submit them. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - ~DrakoRero~ - 10-31-2010 May I say something? Well in fictional depictions, raccoon-dogs ( tanuki's ) can transform into various things, and they usually use a leaf to do so. In fact, furniture on Animal Crossing are leaves with little holes in them, and they transform when you put them in your house, which makes sense because the leaf is both Tom Nooks logo and he sales furniture in his store, but Crazy Redd ( ? ) does the same and even has the same logo if I could remember, so it makes sense. Excuse me if I'm wrong. Oh and I'm trying to combine all of our frilled Lizard designs to make a new one. How does this look? and yes I tried to do Sugimori Style. I'm really hyped to do the evolutions but I don't know what type you guys want ( Grass/Poison etc. ). RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 10-31-2010 I think that's really good! Although it doesn't look much like Sugi style, no offence RE: TSR PokeDex Project - ~DrakoRero~ - 10-31-2010 (10-31-2010, 09:04 AM)Mister Monday Wrote: I think that's really good! Although it doesn't look much like Sugi style, no offence Actually, I was going to say it doesn't look much like it XD The design isn't accepted yet anyways, I have to practice the style more. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 10-31-2010 I hope it does get accepted I think I'm pretty good at the Sugi style |
