Take edits like these with a grain of salt as it indeed alters the character and design, but I think the lesson is more anatomy related. My input: People already have commented on the back foot. It's a really awkward angle for a foot to be in related to the position of the leg. Try to make the heel face the camera/screen more and the nose away. What HtE presented was actually the exact opposite, changing the entire posture based around the position of the feet. I think now is better, but if you have any more criticism I accept RE: THE FIGHTERS RESOURCE - Official Thread - Candel - 06-26-2012 It looks much better, but what I meant is that the way he's ducking looks like he's sitting on a chair. Also the back of the leg is way too thick. Try ducking in front of a mirror and look at your position, the way your knees bend and so on. In a fighting game like this, I don't think someone would duck with his hands near his pants. I think you should put them nearer to his face. Hope this helps. I also made some little changes to the idle (mostly around the legs). I also added a hard hit and alternate colors. EDIT: I organized the sheet. It looks like he has a tumour on his shoulder. Secondly his limbs are somewhat noodley, particularly his arms. Make sure they are straight until the elbow. Thirdly, when he crouches, his legs become thinner, to the point where they are barely as thick as sticks. Fourthly, he looks generally off balance, like he's leaning backwards, though fixing the torso issue will probably help with this.
