RE: Ness* - StarSock64 - 09-06-2010 I think the string looks pretty strange while he's holding it in the back RE: Ness* - Ploaj - 09-06-2010 Ok hows this The feet are still a wip but the rest should be done EDIT: Ok i will fix the height and string RE: Ness* - Alpha Six - 09-07-2010 It's getting there, but he needs more movement. He's too stiff. And his feet keep sliding backwards awkwardly. RE: Ness* - D2S-Speed - 09-07-2010 Nice, job so far, try making him crouch a bit when he releases his yo-yo! RE: Ness* - Ton - 09-07-2010 Looking good! RE: Ness* - Ploaj - 09-07-2010 Ok I just did a little edit. I am not sure what more movement to add any suggestions. EDIT: I just noticed i messed up on the feet i will fix them later RE: Ness* - Raid - 09-07-2010 \../, Ness rocks ,\../ [just look his left arm =P] You need to clean some animations too, his right leg isnt matching in the final of the anim (i think chop is the word). The string in the start of movement is curved. It would be all right, but only if it wasnt in upward direction. And the fx must be redone, but i think it could be later. You are almost there RE: Ness* - Koopaul - 09-07-2010 Yeah Ness should stretch out his legs and lower his body when doing this. I've been studying the movements of the characters in Brawl. RE: Ness* - Iceman404 - 09-07-2010 The yoyo doesn't fit the style and doesn't show any signs of spinning. RE: Ness* - GrooveMan.exe - 09-12-2010 The animation is possibly too fast to show spinning easily. Then again, you can cheese it with some shading dickery. If you wouldn't mind posting the sheet I could give it a whirl. Oh, and when his head turns he loses his chin. You don't want him to look like goon. RE: Ness* - Ploaj - 09-12-2010 Ok knock yourself out I made it in an animation software so i had to use paint to organize it that's why they are spaced out. RE: Ness* - Gors - 09-12-2010 this doesn't work I have an idea for this: make the yoyo a separated sprite and make it move by coding (like Kirby Super Star's yoyo attack). It'll move a lot smoother than this and easier to work on. RE: Ness* - Ploaj - 09-12-2010 That sounds like a good idea. RE: Ness* - GrooveMan.exe - 09-12-2010 Ehhhhhhhh I toyed around with the idea of the yo-yo visibly spinning or blurring, but I dunno how sucessful it would be. I've not animated it to test. I don't believe the yo-yo sprite in Kirby animated, so it could remain semi-detailed. RE: Ness* - Ploaj - 09-12-2010 No kirby's yo-yo doesn't have a spinning animation so I think ness's yo-yo doesn't need one. Edit: Example |
